Pornography: 6 Mysterious Steps to Stopping Porn Triggers
- Enjoy passing sexual feelings: For me, the key is not to focus on an arousal but allow it to pass. Feeling good is all right; conjuring up thoughts and images to keep it going causes me to view porn in the future.
- Spring back: In passing, if I objectify someone as sexy, I immediately rebound (bounce my eyes) away from that person. Starving my eyes helps me resist porn.
- Look Down: Out and about, when I am at the mall, retail store, or grocery, I look at the floor, six feet ahead. Doing so, the need to bounce my eyes from someone is less frequent. I strengthen my resolve for abstinence from porn.
- Stop Masturbation: For me, when I stopped masturbating, pornography had less a hold on sexual impulses.
- Remove Erectile Dysfunction(ED): In the last 12 months, I have slipped two times. I went online and looked at porn. Both times, the experience was brief but eye-opening. I asked, “Why am I trying to become aroused by looking at the anatomy of human bodies (men and women)?” I also could not get an erection. I was having ED. I clicked off the internet. Also, in the last 12 months I masturbated twice; both times, I experienced ED. Trying to achieve an organism without full arousal takes a very long time.
- Results: Because I stopped masturbation and viewing porn, I no longer have ED. Arousal is intense; however, I keep hands off.
Thanks,
Richard
Whatever works for you, dude! I don’t like to look down, though. Otherwise, good advice and I’m glad you have ED cured.
Thank you, nofaptilldeath. I understand the looking down; I have to use peripheral vision not to run into anyone or thing.
