You asked God why his word was flawless
He said to shield you from evil
You asked God why you could not change
He said that his word was perfect
You asked God why you matter to him
He said that He goes up to heaven and comes down
You asked God to explain
He said He gathers the winds in his fists
You asked God why you matter
He said that He set boundaries for the waters in his garments
You said that you were most insensitive
God said His word established the ends of the earth
You said you have no understanding
God asked, “What is my name? What is my Son’s name?”
You asked God, “Why can’t I change?”
He said His word is pure
You take refuge in Him
Inspiration from
Proverbs 30:2 – 5
2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
