Don’t be fooled: Porn will hold you back from achieving what you desire from life.

My Story:
I was addicted to pornography for more than 40 years; until one day, I discovered a power, a force per say, within me that even pornography couldn’t withstand.
That force was the ‘pain and pleasure’ principle. When the emotional pain from doing porn became so severe, I finally came to the breaking point.
I confessed, “I’ve had it. I must stop!” In that moment, instantaneously, I quit pornography. However, It Was Just the Beginning of Understanding How to Stop. At that moment I did change toward the good.
What caused me to change? I wanted to rid myself of intense pain in conjunction with the desire for the pleasures of good living: the pleasure of comfort, the pleasure of self-esteem, the pleasure of integrity, the pleasure of worship.
Consciously, I wanted to stop the pain; unconsciously I craved the pleasure of a wholesome life.
Then, I had an “Ah Ha” experience. I had hope.
I knew I could stop a relapse, learn from it, and have more power over other relapse, if any.
My magnificent obsession of wanting my life back caused me to make a decision, confessing, “No More!”
Thanking God for His strength, an incredible joy consumed me.
Profound pleasure filled the core of my being.
At that moment I knew pornography had lost its control over me. A deep feeling of relief spread throughout me.

Not until I understood the force—the pain and pleasure principle—did I make progress. There were steps to recovery.
As time progressed, relapses became slips, and learning from the slips caused me to have even fewer slips preventing a full blown relapse.
When I felt greater pleasure from being free, than doing pornography, I realized the pain was not worth it.
Doing porn was painful and not doing was pleasurable.
Then, three beliefs began to root into my conscience.
I must change.
Change is possible.
I can change.
These three beliefs gave me the emotional power to work on my recovery.

This in so inspiring to two thirds of our three members. Our partnership, going strong for over 10 years, recently suffered a major loss when one of our members got caught downloading porn on state funded faculty computers. It took a government seizure of much of our equipment to finally get Joey and Jake to face their demons, admit they had a problem and seek treatment. Your blog posts has been an immense inspiration. Keep up the great work, and thanks again!

i am happy this helps. Porn affect the Seat of our Soul, which affect everything we do, because Porn kills the joy we were intended to have. Joy causes us to become successful in all our endeavors. When a person loses joy, he/she loses the enthusiasm (spark) for life. We need this spark to operate at our genius levels (brilliance). We have everything we need to be successful, if we have the joy. Fortunately, we can seek it again and find it. But people need to be cautious; the Giver doesn’t have to give back what’s lost.

WALLS SO HIGH I FEEL TINGLING IN MY SPINE,
I MUST MAKE IT MUST SOAR ONCE MORE,
I’VE MADE THE CLIMB SO MANY TIMES,
AND ONLY FLAILED AS I FAILD AND FELL TO THE VALLEY FLOOR,
YET THE TREASURE I SEEK IS JUST OVER THAT PEAK,
THE PRICE FOR SUCCESS I MUST AFFORD,
‘CAUSE I CANT FIND A REASON OF ANY KIND IN MY HEART, SOUL, OR MIND,
WHY GREATNESS SHOULD BE IGNORED.
I recently come to a point in life where I finally said enough is enough I was stricken grasping power of the addiction and how it left feeling condemn after every time I visited a port site.
Recently I fell before the Lord on my knees confessing my sins and I felt this love like an endless river pour upon me, it was at that point I realized the power of the Holy Spirit taking root within me.
I sensed the Lord cheering me on like come on son you can beat this addiction with my help and power. I admit that because I recently stopped some days have more stressful than others and those are the days I really have and need to call upon the Lord, because I know with my own strength I would fail each time.
I noticed the title said free e-book is there a link you’re offering to download the e-book?

The meaning is profound.
Treasure is in you because it was put there.
As you clear your mind, you see things more valuable than diamonds or jewels anyone can afford.
However, a clear mind opens ways to receive the physical treasures as well.
